Jessica Ringrose is Professor of Sociology of Gender and Education
Jessica Ringrose is Professor of Sociology of Gender and Education at the UCL Institute of Education. She is an internationally recognized and widely cited expert on gender and sexual equity in education. She has worked with a wide range of global and UK stakeholders to shape policy and practice in areas of gender, media cultures and online safety, including The UK Home Office, The Department for Education, The Mayor of London and more. She is the 2020 recipient of The American Educational Research Association (AERA) Distinguished Contributions to Gender Equity in Education Award.
