One of our #FEELers, Zixi Zuo gave a lecture on “New Media and Mediated Intimacy” using the example of #metoo. 💜Happy International Women’s Day💜 As FEELers, we embrace #equity and #transinclusion 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️⚧️ Xumeng Xie says how much of her textual work has been inspired by experiencing and feeling arts. Specializing on digital feminist activism in China at the @ucl @ioelondon, her PhD work explores material-affective assemblages of connections and networks 🏹 Thank you to Betsy Milne and Prof. Jessica Ringrose for discussing ‘gender and sexual based violence in schools’ last week at the @ucl @ioelondon❣️ PhD Research | Xumeng Xie | Girl Rebels and Digital Feminist Activism in China 🌈 It was great to come in to @soasuni on a Saturday morning for attending the ‘We are the feminisms in lecture theatre (and in the streets)’ conference❣️Prof. @jringrose7, Dr. #SaraBragg, and Prof. #EJRenold gave a presentation on their artful trans inclusive intersectional feminist activist methods and methodologies used in classrooms. It was so inspiring spending the weekend together with such intersectional, trans inclusive and decolonial feminist scholars, practitioners and activists 💜❤️🧡💚 ✨Thank you to Idil Cambazoglu for her brilliant lecture on ‘masculinities within educational settings’ delivered to the Gender, Sexuality, and Education MA module students this week at the IOE UCL 🙌🤩
